From 19 April until the end of May our FitSteps classes will focus on Paso Doble. The Paso Doble routine for 2017 is now available to view in the member’s only area of the website along with the breakdown of individual steps.
We will also be practicing Samba & American Smooth along with our final Jive 2017 routine.
The Paso Doble will help to build a strong core & posture. The upper body needs to remain strong & taught throughout, with the arms curved and controlled. If performed mainly on the balls of the feet, then the calves & lower body will be more engaged, requiring even more core control throughout. This dance is also fantastic for reducing stress – get transported with the music to ease any build-up of tension from the day!
